Ijaw Women’s Group Commends Otuaro’s Leadership, Urges Support for Niger Delta Development
By Chukwunonso Eric, Warri.
The Ijaw Women Rights’ Protection Forum has commended the leadership of Dr. Dennis Otuaro, praising his administration for what it described as commendable efforts toward improving opportunities for people in the Niger Delta region.
In a statement, the group expressed appreciation for the initiatives and progress recorded under Otuaro’s leadership, noting that his commitment to advancing the welfare of the region’s people deserves recognition and encouragement.
The forum called on residents of the Niger Delta to support ongoing development efforts and acknowledge the positive steps being taken, rather than focusing solely on criticism. According to the group, constructive support for leaders who demonstrate genuine commitment to progress is essential for the overall growth of the region.
While urging patience among stakeholders, the women’s group emphasized that development is a gradual process and should be appreciated as it unfolds.
“It is unrealistic to expect any leader to achieve the impossible before recognizing the good work already being done. Every meaningful step toward development deserves appreciation,” the statement said.
The forum further encouraged continued support for initiatives that promote unity, sustainable development, and socio-economic growth across the Niger Delta.
