I’m Not Married — Niniola Speaks on Rumours of Secret Wedding

Nigerian singer Niniola Apata has debunked rumours suggesting she secretly got married.

Speculations had circulated online that the “Maradona” crooner took a break from the spotlight after allegedly tying the knot in a private ceremony.

However, in a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, the 38-year-old artiste dismissed the claims, stating unequivocally that she is not married.

“I don’t care whatever anyone does or says regarding my personal life. After all, I’m not a 12-year-old. I’m old enough to say whatever I want to say with my full chest. I’m not married,” she said.

Speaking on the possibility of collaborating with her younger sister, singer Teni, Niniola said a joint project would only happen when the timing and circumstances are right.

She further stressed that music is ultimately a business, adding, “There’s no family in business.”
