INC Kicks Off National Convention, Launches Ijaw Heritage Book

The Ijaw National Congress (INC) has commenced its national convention in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, with the launch of a book titled “Ijaw Heritage through Centuries: Origin, Cultures and Experiences”.

The three-day event, which began on March 5, 2026 at Ijaw House, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State features a packed schedule, including a policy dialogue, cultural performances, and the presentation of manifestos by presidential candidates.

The convention is expected to culminate in the election of new leadership on March 7, 2026, with several prominent Ijaw personalities vying for the top positions.
