INEC Chairman Charges FOSIECON On Credible Polls

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Forum of State Independent Electoral Commissions of Nigeria (FOSIECON) are strengthening collaboration to promote credible elections at the Local Government Level.

This was during a visit by the leadership of the FOSIECON to INEC headquarters in Abuja.

INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan reminded the State Independent electoral commissions on the need to conduct elections that will build confidence in the process.

Key areas of collaboration include capacity building, ICT and voter education.
