The Ijaw Publishers’ Forum (IPF) has lauded prominent Nigerian marine entrepreneur and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Vettal Mega Services Limited, Captain Letthemsay Braboke Inaibagha, for his outstanding contributions to humanity in the Ijaw nation.

The commendation came during a courtesy visit by the forum at his residence in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu, Delta State on Wednesday. The delegation, led by IPF’s President Amb. Comrade Ozobo Austin alongside other executive members, said Inaibagha was singled out for special recognition due to his consistent impact to the wellbeing of mankind across the Niger Delta.

Speaking during the visit, Ozobo described Inaibagha as an exemplary figure whose influence extends beyond philanthropy to mentorship and institutional support.

“We appreciate your mentorship and exemplary contributions to humanity and community development in the region. It is important that we use this opportunity to induct you as a patron of IPF so that more people can benefit from your wealth of experience, which has positively shaped thousands of Ijaw youths,” he said.

He noted that although Inaibagha is known for maintaining a private life over the years, his acts of generosity, hard work, humility, and compassion continue to inspire many within and beyond the region.

“We are aware that you prefer a quiet life and often do not seek recognition for your good deeds. However, we seek your understanding as we bring your achievements to the fore so others can learn from your success story,” Ozobo added.

The IPF president also expressed gratitude for Inaibagha’s support during the forum’s Ijaw Media Conference, offering prayers for his continued success and greater accomplishments.

In his response, Inaibagha thanked the forum for the honour and encouraged its members to remain steadfast in promoting the Ijaw cause through constructive engagement.

He emphasized the importance of adopting peaceful and intellectual approaches in addressing issues affecting the Niger Delta, urging media practitioners to remain resolute and responsible in their advocacy.

“IPF should always maintain a peaceful, yet firm disposition. Your appearance may be calmed, but your pen can achieve great things,” he stated.
