In a birthday message issued on Sunday and signed by the President of the Ijaw Publishers Forum, Comrade Ozobo Austin, the forum described Hon. Oromoni is a quintessential personality and exemplary grassroots leader whose administration has continued to record notable progress in governance and community development.

According to the statement, the IPF commended the Warri South-West Council boss for his leadership style, which it said had strengthened local governance, promoted peace, and enhanced service delivery across communities within the local government area.

“Today marks a special day in the life of a leader whose impact has been deeply felt in the lives of the Ijaw people and the Niger Delta at large. Hon. Sylvester Oromoni has continued to demonstrate commitment, vision and accountability in the discharge of his duties,” the statement reads.
The forum noted that since assuming office, Oromoni has steered the affairs of Warri South-West Local Government Council with a strong sense of responsibility, inclusiveness and dedication to public service, earning him respect from stakeholders, community leaders and residents of the council area.

The IPF further praised the council chairman for prioritising peace-building, youth engagement and community-oriented policies, stressing that such qualities are critical to sustainable development in the Niger Delta.
“Your leadership has brought stability and renewed confidence in local administration. You have shown that leadership is about service, sacrifice and impact,” Comrade Ozobo Austin added.

The Ijaw Publishers Forum, an umbrella body of Ijaw media practitioners and publishers, prayed for continued good health, wisdom and strength for Hon. Oromoni as he marked another year, expressing optimism that his tenure would continue to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of Warri South-West.
