IYC Election: Don’t vote people with no integrity -Ozobo warns Ijaw youths

Foremost Niger Delta advocate and environmentalist, Comrade Ozobo Austin, has called on Ijaw youths not to vote aspirants with no integrity in the forthcoming general election of the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC.

He spoke while playing host to a section of Ijaw Youths in Abuja on Thursday.

According to him, members of the current council who allegedly cashed out in the Akpabio’s saga and others who lacked focus and integrity should not be voted to superintend the IYC in the July election of council.

The advocate argued that the council which is in a state of coma would be given finally burial when charlatans of ‘Yahoo’ mentality and those who see IYC as a medium to cash out takeover leadership.

He further maintained that IYC had lost its relevance and would only be resuscitated when people of integrity and pedigree are elected to power in the July poll.
