JABU MATRICULATES 2024/25 INTAKES
Joseph Ayó Babalóla University (JABU), a citadel of knowledge with Godly service on Saturday the 1st of March, 2025 officially confirmed the studentship of it’s intakes for the 2024/25 academic session at an elaborate matriculation ceremony held at the university campus in Ikeji – Arakeji, Osun State, Nigeria.
The colourful event which started by 9am took place inside the Óba Óladele Ólashore Auditorium.
The university which is owned and operated by Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide with headquarters in Nigeria is a faith – based institution.
The new intakes which were about 500 were enjoined to be of good behavior and focus mainly on their academic pursuit which is the primary purpose of their admission.
The new students were also told that there is a zero tolerance for cultism by the school authority and that there is an existing spiritual curse placed by the church’s authority on any student who engages in cult activities in or outside the campus.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor O. A. Fakolujó in his address assured the new students that the well being of all students remain the utmost priority of the owners and management of the university!
The Vice Chancellor also used the occasion to announce the accreditation of new post graduate and undergraduate programmes for the school by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The University’s radio station, Radio JABU operating on frequency 105.7FM aired the matriculation ceremony in a live broadcast.
The University’s Registrar, Messr E. A. Onilado who coordinated the activities of the ceremony led the new intakes in their oath taking.
The Chairman of the University’s Parents’ Forum, Barrister Abitogun. O. Stephen also gave an account of his stewardship during the Parents’ Forum Meeting that took place after the matriculation ceremony.
Parents, guardians and well wishers openly displayed their joy and appreciation to God for making them to witness the beginning of their wards journey to an academic degree destination in a university where a total man/woman could be developed!
