JAPA: ‘There Is No Place You Can Succeed If Not Nigeria’ — Minister Of Works Declares
By Micheal Chukwuebuka
David Umahi, Nigeria’s Minister of Works, has urged citizens to recognize the immense opportunities available within the country.
He highlighted the behavior of some Nigerians who travel abroad in search of greener pastures, observing that while they follow rules and work diligently overseas, they often abandon those same practices upon returning home.
Umahi said, “Some Nigerians living abroad obey rules and traffic laws over there, but when they return home, they abandon those same practices. If they put in the same level of hard work in Nigeria as they do abroad, they would succeed even more 100 times better than overseas.”
He stressed that with discipline, dedication, and hard work, Nigerians can achieve remarkable success at home, encouraging citizens to invest their talents locally rather than looking solely to foreign opportunities.
