Former President Goodluck Jonathan has cautioned prominent figures, including Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo and human rights lawyer Professor Chidi Odinkalu, against interfering in his political affairs.

Jonathan, who has recently been the subject of speculation over his possible return to frontline politics, expressed displeasure with public comments suggesting alignments or questioning his political decisions. He emphasized that his political future remains his personal choice and should not be dictated or influenced by external voices.

The former president stressed that while he respects differing opinions, he would not tolerate undue intrusion into his affairs. According to him, Nigeria’s democracy thrives on freedom of choice, and every political actor deserves the right to shape their own path without pressure.

Political observers see Jonathan’s statement as a move to assert independence amid increasing debates about his role in Nigeria’s evolving political landscape.
