JUST IN: Opuede Chiefs, Leaders, Elders Pass Vote of Confidence On Mackson Ode-Led Exco, Warn Against Imposters

Opuede Federated Community’s Chiefs, Elders, and Stakeholders in Gbaramatu kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State have reaffirmed their support for the leadership of Barrister Mackson Ode, declaring his executive committee as the only recognized representatives of the community.

The names listed below hereby sign this publication for themselves and on-behalf of the entire Opuede Community.

The joint statement was signed on behalf of the community by High Chief Money Ode, Dahda James Orubu, Elder Robert Faraju, Elder Famous Eko, Elder Blessing Mode, Elder Gabriel Tewo, Elder Collins Bouy and Elder Aseritewei John.

The community leadership warned the public against dealing with any other individuals or groups claiming to represent the Opuede Federated Community, stating that such actions would be at the institution’s or person’s own risk.

The community leaders expressed confidence in Ode’s leadership, citing no known or verifiable problems or controversies with his executive. They also warned individuals parading themselves as representatives to desist or face legal consequences and the wrath of the community.

The jointly signed statement read, “We, the Opuede Chiefs, Elders and Stakeholders on-behalf of the entire good people of Opuede Federated Community hereby declare as follows:

“1) That, the Barrister Mackson Ode led Executive of Opuede Federated Community remains the only recognized and accepted REPRESENTATIVE of Opuede Federated Community to every institution having dealings with the community.

“2) That, there’s no known and verifiable problem or controversy with the Barrister Mackson Ode led Executive.

“3) That, Opuede Federated Community has not mandated any PERSON OR GROUP PERSONS to act on-behalf of Opuede Federated Community in any capacity. We therefore vehemently warn that any institution or person(s)who deals with ANY OTHER PERSONS OR GROUP does so at its own risk and peril.

“4) That, we collectively and severally PASS A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE on the Executive of Opuede Federated Community ably led by, Barrister Mackson Ode.

“5) That, we by this publication warn any individual or group of individuals parading themselves as representatives of Opuede Federated Community to desist from such ignoble act forthwith or meet with the strong harm of the Law and wrath of Opuede Federated Community Chiefs, Elders and Stakeholders”, the community noted.
