JUST IN: Otuaro Donates Laptops to Students at NMU, Okerenkoko

The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, under his Education for Empowerment (E4E) Mandate Campaign has distributed laptops to students under the PAP Scholarship Scheme in Nigerian Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta State, Nigeria.

The E4E Mandate Campaign team led by Engr. Sokoto Ebikonde Victor on 30th January 2026 visited the Nigerian Maritime University, Okerenkoko, to distribute laptops to beneficiaries of the scholarship scheme.

The team said the initiative is part of the PAP’s core mandate to empower youths in the Niger Delta through education, enhancing their learning capacity and overall productivity.

“However, the Dr. Dennis Otuaro-led administration remained committed to this goal, aiming to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in the region”, the team added.

The statement noted that the E4E Mandate Campaign team will be visiting more schools in the coming days, spreading the message of empowerment through education. The initiative has received support from various stakeholders, who praise Chief Dr. Otuaro’s dedication to the cause.

“The campaign’s efforts align with the PAP’s broader objectives, focusing on education and skills development to drive growth and prosperity in the Niger Delta. With this initiative, the administration hopes to inspire and motivate young minds, equipping them with the tools necessary to succeed”, the statement reads.

Meanwhile, the benefiting students of the Nigerian Maritime University, Okerenkoko, commended Dr Otuaro for prioritizing education for development and empowerment in the region, adding that they will make a good use of the opportunity provided to them.
