Kano State Health Commissioner Pays Unschedule Visit to Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital

The Kano state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf, paid an unscheduled inspection visit to Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, Kano, to assess the progress of the ongoing projects and inspect completed facilities slated for commissioning soon.
During the visit, the Honourable Commissioner toured several sections to ensure the quality of work and readiness for use by the public.
A statement by the Public Relations officer of the Ministry, Nabilusi Abubakar, said the commissioner for health, Dr. Labaran expressed satisfaction with the level of progress recorded so far, commending the contractors for their dedication while urging them to maintain the high standards in line with the vision of the present administration of Abba Kabir Yusuf to restore the glory of public health facilities in Kano State.
The commissioner said, the unscheduled visit was aimed at ensuring transparency, accountability, and timely delivery of projects that will enhance service delivery and improve patient care across the State.
The Commissioner further reaffirmed the commitment of the state Ministry of Health and the State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf to provide a functional, accessible, and people-centered healthcare system for all residents of Kano State.
