Kogi Youth Endorses Tinubu, Ododo For Second Term

Kogi youths in the All Progressives Congress have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ododo with the presentation of a cheque worth one hundred million naira, for the purchase of nomination form in the 2027 general elections.

They made the declaration and presentation through Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo at the Muhammadu Buhari Square, Lokoja, preparatory to the celebration of Ododo’s second year in office.

Youths from the twenty one local government areas of Kogi State gathered at the Muhammad Buhari square in Lokoja for the endorsement as part of activities to mark two years of governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in office.

Stakeholders in their separate remarks acknowledge both President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for their inclusive governance which has strengthen the bond of unity, impacting positively on the lives of youths in the area of road networks, health care, education, agriculture, rural electrification and human capital development, describing the all progressives congress under the leadership of president Tinibu as a hallmark for democracy in Nigeria.

The State APC Chairman Abdullahi Bello appreciates the governor for giving the youths the opportunity to showcase their talents pointing out that what the youths have demonstrated is a massage that they will deliver come next year’s general elections.

The APC he says is a party with a difference geared towards empowering the youths to become role models and nation builders.

Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo in his acceptance address, appreciates his endorsement together with president Ahmed Tinubu for continuity saying that no administration has empowered the youths more than the current president of Nigeria in the area of Students loan scheme, youth and women empowerment and many others.

He describes the event as a true coalition towards promoting the APC in the state and at national levels.

The governor appreciates the first lady of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu for her compassion in touching the lives of citizens through her renewed hope initiative saying that hundreds of thousands are beneficiaries.

He appeals to youths in the state to shun acts that are detrimental to progress and development of kogi state.
