Leaders of Inikorogha Visit Okomu Palm Coy, Present List of New Executives

Leaders of Inikorogha community have visited Okomu Palm Oil Company and presented a list of new executives of the community to the Managing Director of the company, Mr Graham Hefer.

The names of the new executives are, Rev. Jacob Eda, the Ama-kosowei of Inikorogha community, Chief Philip Polo, chairman elders council, Robert Ogidigba, member, Mr Friday Benson, Community Chairman, Mr Robert Edward, vice Chairman, Mr Bobor Ayesere , secretary, Mr Gabriel Obriki, Spokesman,
Mr Marvin Ogbe , youth president, Mr Ebipade James, assistant youth president, Sunday Edolor PRO, Mr Jolly Edward secretary and Mrs Ebike Duke , treasurer.

Others at the meeting were Comrade Daniel Ezekiel, former security aide to the governor of Delta State and Comrade God’stime Ogidigba, Senior Special Assistant to the governor of Edo state on Waterways and others.

The leaders thanked the company’s management for the support given to the community in respect of the company’s corporate responsibility.

Chairman who spoke on behalf of the community appealed for working relationship between the company and the new executives in the community.

They lamented that contracts approved in the community by the previous MD of the company were not executed.

The community said despite promise to Renovation the community town hall, award scholarship, provide employment for the youths, empowerment and award of contract, nothing was done.

The chairman urged the company’s managing Director to partner in the development of the Inikorogha community, adding the community is equally ready to assist the company to grow in their operations.

The company’s MD while responding, lamented over restiveness, and hostility in Inikorogha community over the years.

The company assured Inikorogha community of better working relationship, adding that members of the community should help to reduce hostilities in the community.
