Legal Practitioner, Sode Sworn in as New President of Egbema Youth Council

The Egbema Youth Council has officially sworn in a legal practitioner Barr Sode Telemowei as the new President. The Egbema Kingdom converged including political and community leaders, youth representatives, well-wishers and personalities across Delta State, all gathered to witness the inaugural ceremony of the new EYC executive council in Warri today 18th May, 2025.

While making his acceptance speech, Barr Sode emphasized the importance of unity among the youth and outlined his vision for the council, which included initiatives aimed at providing the best leadership for the kingdom. He expressed gratitude to the outgoing council members for their hard work and dedication.

“As we embark on this new journey, I call upon all youth in Egbema to join hands in building a brighter future for our community,” Barr Sode stated in his acceptance speech. “Together, we can tackle the challenges we face and seize the opportunities that lie ahead.”

The ceremony concluded with a call to action for all young people in Egbema to become actively involved in the council’s activities and contribute to the growth and prosperity of the community.
