LG chairmen inauguration: PSG Ocholor felicitates Takeme, Evah, welcomes councilors, stakeholders to July 18 sworn-in ceremony

The Principal Secretary to the Governor of Delta State, Barr (Mrs) Lyna Aliya Ocholor, has heartily congratulated the newly sworn-in Chairman/Vice of Burutu Local Government Council, Chief Julius Takeme, and Mrs. Georgina Evah, on their well-deserved election victory and successful inauguration at the Government House Event Centre in Asaba on Tuesday.

 

In a statement, Ocholor described the election victory of the duo to the commitment to productive leadership and dedication to serving the people of Burutu LGA.

 

She also felicitated with the newly elected councilors of various wards in Burutu LGA, welcoming them, party faithfuls and leaders to the July 18 inauguration in the council legislative chamber.

 

The leader of the Seimbiri ward 4, Ocholor urged the Burutu council chairman and councilors to build on the MORE agenda of the Governor, His Excellency RT. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, ensuring quality services for the people of Burutu LGA.

 

However, this call to action aligns with the state government’s focus on effective governance and development at the grassroots level.

 

According to PSG Ocholor, the inauguration of the new council chairmen/vice in the state marked a significant milestone in the administration of the governor of the state.

 

PSG Ocholor’s congratulatory message emphasised the importance of collaborative efforts in driving progress and growth in the Delta State.
