LGA Chairman Receives Bodies Of Eight Police Officers Killed By Bandits In Benue

The Chairman of Katsina-Ala Local Government Area, Hon. Justin Shaku, has received the remains of eight police officers killed during a violent attack by bandits in the Mbatyula/Mberev community of Benue State.

Among the deceased was Officer Dan Zuru, whose death has left residents and colleagues in deep shock. The incident has plunged the community into mourning, as families and fellow officers struggle to come to terms with the devastating loss.

Authorities have assured that investigations are under way, alongside intensified security operations, to restore calm and prevent further attacks in the affected area.

The fallen officers are being remembered for their service and sacrifice, having died in the line of duty while protecting their community.
