Man Charged With Defiling Minor In Lagos

A 34-year-old man responsible for defiling his neighbour’s 15-year-old daughter in Lagos has been arrested.

According to reports, the suspect, Felix Oluwatobi, was charged with defilement under the Criminal Law of the State.

Crimes Chroniclers gathered that the incident occurred on 25th September, at Mukaila Ajaro Street, Celestial Road, Igando, Lagos State where they reside.

The suspect was apprehended and detained by operatives of Igando Division after the victim’s parent reported the incident.

Felix was found culpable after thorough interrogation and has been charged before Ogba Magistrate Court for the offence.

The charges read:

COUNT I: “That you, FELIX OLUWATOBI ‘M’ sometimes in July 2025 to 25th September, 2025 at Mukaila Ajaro Street, lgando, Lagos in the Lagos Magisterial Distract ,did defile defile the victim, 15 and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria 2015.”

COUNT 11:”That you, FELIX OLUWATOBI ‘M’ on the same date, time ad place did sexually assault the victim, 15 years old and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 263 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria 2015.”

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.O. Tanimola, ordered his remand in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri, pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice.
