Mercyland’s fire may have been caused by my disobedience to God -Prophet Omoto Funfeyin

Founder and general overseer of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Warri, Delta State, Prophet Jeremiah Funfeyin blamed Wednesday wildfire in the church on his disobedience to God.

Prophet Funfeyin who confirmed the incident in a video on his Facebook handle said the fire may have broken out due to his disobedience to God’s instructions to build a church auditorium in the vineyard of God.

The popular Warri based Nigerian prophet claimed that the incident was orchestrated by God who earlier gave him an instruction to build a church auditorium.

He hinted that God’s anger over his disobedience to the instruction may have led to the inferno that destroyed several properties in the church.

He said, “If I was not expecting this incident before, I would have asked God questions. God told me this thing is coming.

“The Lord had told me, Go and build my house, where you are using currently is not a church house, it is just a partner’s house.

Prophet Funfeyin who said that his unrepentant attitude towards the instructions angered God to destroy the auditorium, adding that he is now ready to build the church.

But mixed reactions have trailed the position of the man of God.
