Mother Cries for Help as Gunmen Demand ₦20 Million Ransom for Kidnapped Daughter in Edo

A heartbroken mother in Edo State has cried out for public assistance after her young daughter, Aisha, was abducted by gunmen at Igbira Camp in Auchi. The kidnappers have reportedly demanded a ₦20 million ransom for the girl’s release, plunging the family into panic and despair.

According to reports, the victim was taken during a night raid by unidentified assailants who stormed the community, shooting sporadically before escaping with Aisha. In a viral video circulating online, the distressed mother tearfully appealed to Nigerians, especially celebrities and philanthropists like Israel DMW, to help raise the ransom.

Community members have called on security agencies to intensify efforts to rescue the victim and bring the perpetrators to justice. The Edo State Police Command has yet to issue an official statement on the incident, but sources say investigations are ongoing.
