NASS 2023: Ozobo congratulates Pondi on election victory

•Describes him as an articulate, bold and brave lawmaker
Niger Delta rights activist Comrade, Ozobo Austin has congratulated RT. Hon. Julius Pondi for winning the House of Representatives election in Burutu federal constituency in Delta state.
This was contained in a statement signed by himself and sent to a Congress correspondent on Wednesday.
It would be recalled that Pondi is a second term reps member, representing Burutu federal constituency and was declared the winner for the third time to represent Burutu federal constituency on Saturday’s general election.
The activist said Pondi’s victory is well deserved, adding that it was the good works he is doing in Burutu federal constituency that earned him a third chance.
He said Pondi’s records of quality and robust representation in Burutu had surpassed the records of his predecessors.
“You know Pondi is a fan of the youths, he is loved by many and all these give him an advantage over his rivals or candidates of other parties in the election.
“Pondi is articulate, bold and brave. These are qualities a lawmaker should possess. I describe him as an experienced lawmaker. I strongly believe he will do more for Burutu federal constituency in his third term.
“It is my advice that he should continue to run all-inclusive and detribalise policies and ensure that he gives a sense of belonging to as many that deserve it. More women and youth empowerment and infrastructural development of Burutu people should be prioritized,” he asserted.
“I also urge him to look keenly into the dilemma of annual flooding in the Burutu federal constituency. Though, this is an oversight and not his main business of lawmaking. But we appeal that he should use his good office to influence land exclamation and sand fielding of flooding Communities in the federal constituency.
“I wish him more winning, good health, God’s wisdom, knowledge and more understanding to pilot the affairs of Burutu federal constituency and his elected office,” he added.
