NASS POLL: Independent Grassroots Liberators Congratulate Joel- Onowakpo, Eriyitomi on election victories

The foremost political pressure group, the Independent Grassroots Liberators (IGL) has congratulated Hon. Chief Joel Onowakpo (APC), for clinching the Delta South Senatorial seat and Chief Hon.Thomas Eriyitomi (PDP) for winning the House of Representatives election in the Warri federal constituency at the just concluded presidential and national assembly elections held on Saturday.

The influential Social Political Pressure Group in Niger Delta, IGL, precisely in Delta South and Warri South West LGA, said it was overwhelmed with the election victories of both National Assembly members, adding that the victories of the duo mean a lot to them.

The statement reads, “Your election victories are well deserved. We earlier assured you of our total support. As you know, the Ogbe-Ijoh people are promise-keepers. We voted massively for Joel Onowakpo (APC) and Eriyitomi (PDP) during Saturday’s elections based on their meritorious services. It gladdens our hearts that we have fulfilled our promises. We will stand by them. We will give them our cooperation for they to succeed in their political journeys.

“We are ready to give every assistance to them, they should feel free to reach out to us any time they need our services,” the group asserted.

Specifically, IGL commended Senator Onowakpo for restoring electricity in the Ogbe-Ijoh community after years of blackouts, adding that he won the heart of the Ogbe-Ijoh people with such a powerful intervention.

However, the group appealed to Onowakpo and Eriyitomi to always remember the Ogbe-Ijoh people for human capital and infrastructural development as representatives of the area.
