A prominent Niger Delta group, the Association of Delta Ijaw Women for Peace, Politics and Culture has come out in defense of Tantita Security Services, exonerating the company from allegations of involvement in the killing of Pessu Community Youth President in Warri, Delta State.
In a statement signed by the group’s national president Comrade Mesahrun Ejiro Stella Bobo has also called for a public apology to restore Tantita’s reputation.
The allegations against Tantita Security Services were reportedly based on false information, which the group claims has caused harm to the company’s image, adding it has been confirmed by the security agents that the killed Itsekiri youth leader was a notorious cultist and kidnapper.
The group, in a statement, emphasized that Tantita Security Services has been a valuable partner in promoting peace and security in the region. They urged the public to disregard the false allegations and called for a retraction of any defamatory statements from Itsekiri youths.
The group has demanded a public apology to clear Tantita’s name and restore its reputation. They believe that this would help to prevent further damage to the company’s image and relationships with stakeholders.
The group warned Itsekiri youths to always verify their information before making such accusations, especially when it concerns the reputation of organizations and individuals.
