• Demands for Apology, retraction

The Niger Delta Transparency Network (NDTN) has slammed one Jude Gbaboyor, secretary to Ben Ebikabowei, alias Boyloaf
for posting a video that makes baseless claims against Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro, PhD, and High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo.
The group, in a statement by its national chairman, Mr Emury Bekenawei and secretary, Mr Aloro James demanded that Boyloaf and his secretary Jude Gbaboyor should render an unreserved apology for falsehoods and blackmails peddled against Otuaro and Tompolo.
Congress learnt that the Boyloaf’s secretary, in a video accused Chief Otuaro of revealing a sensitive document that protected former President Goodluck Jonathan, but investigation showed that the said report had been in the public space since 2020.
This was a clear indication that the accusations may not be true, but could be usual ways of one seeking attention.
NDTN, however, strongly condemned these accusations, which also aimed to discredit Tompolo, a renowned freedom fighter in the Niger Delta region.
The group further accused Ben Ebikabowei, alias Boyloaf of using his so-called secretary Gbaboyor to be fighting Otuaro and Tompolo for being silence over the shameful action of his boy, Gbaboyor.
The group deemed the Gbaboyor’s accusations against Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro and High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, as baseless and malicious, stating that such attacks were merely a smear campaign.
The statement reads, “the document referred to by the insane Jude Gbaboyor, Boyloaf’s secretary has been in the public domain since 2020. In 2020 Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro PhD has not been appointed as PAP administrator. So you can see that the report is a complete lie and blackmail.
“The public should disregard it, we were told this same Boyloaf and his secretary were responsible for manipulating the amnesty office and their boys monthly stipend.
They are crying maybe because Otuaro reforms have tightened some loopholes of free monies against them.
“It is our demand that Boyloaf camp should make a public apology for Otuaro and Tompolo for defamatory publication and spreading of falsehood against them. Because you can’t hold Otuaro responsible or blackmail him for a document that has been in the public space since 2020. This is a complete wickedness and blackmail.
“This is a clear indication that Boyloaf is using his so-called secretary Gbaboyor to be fighting Otuaro and Tompolo for being silence over the shameful action of his boy, Gbaboyor”, they added.
