NDLEA Arrests 2 Qatar-Based Drug Lords, Seizes Meth At Lagos Airport

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has apprehended two Qatar-based drug dealers, simply identified as Eyah Celestine Nnamdi and Ugwuoke Peter Oluchukwu, after their methamphetamine shipment was intercepted at the Murtala International Airport, Ikeja Lagos.
This is according to a statement signed by the agency’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, on Sunday in Abuja.
Babafemi stated that Peter was first arrested during clearance of Qatar Airways passengers at the departure point Terminal 2 of the Lagos Airport.
The suspect was said to be travelling to Doha with an Ivorian International passport with the name Hien Narcisse.
During the search, the agency discovered a false bottom concealment of two parcels of crystalline substance which tested positive for methamphetamine weighing 1.00kg.
Further Investigation revealed that the suspect is a Nigerian who had gone to obtain an Ivorian passport for his travels.
Peter was said to hail from Igboeze North Local Government Area of Enugu state.
Further probe of Peter led to the arrest of his Qatar-based senior partner in the trade simply identified as Murphy.
