The National Examinations Council (NECO) has officially released the results of the 2025 Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE), bringing relief and excitement to millions of candidates across the country.

Announcing the results in Minna on Tuesday, NECO’s Registrar, Prof. Dantani Wushishi, said the examination recorded a higher pass rate compared to previous years. He noted that a significant number of students obtained five credits and above, including Mathematics and English Language, which are core requirements for admission into higher institutions.

Prof. Wushishi also disclosed that while cases of malpractice were recorded, the council had taken strict measures to curb examination fraud, ensuring the integrity of the results.

Parents, teachers, and candidates have since rushed online and to various NECO offices nationwide to check performance, with many celebrating outstanding scores.

The council assured that certificates for successful candidates would be ready for collection in due course.
