Nigeria at 65: Tinubu Says Nation on Course to Lead the Black Race

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his belief that Nigeria remains on track to fulfill its destiny as the leader of the black race, despite the challenges confronting the nation.
In his Independence Day address on Wednesday, October 1, the President called on Nigerians to remain united, resilient, and hopeful, stressing that the country’s diversity remains its greatest strength. He noted that, at 65, Nigeria has continued to stand tall among nations, weathering storms and emerging stronger.
Tinubu praised the determination and creativity of Nigerians both at home and abroad, saying their achievements in technology, sports, arts, and business continue to project the nation’s greatness to the world.
The President also reiterated his administration’s commitment to economic reforms, improved security, and job creation. He urged citizens to renew their faith in the nation and work together toward peace, progress, and prosperity.
Tinubu concluded his message by assuring Nigerians that with collective effort and belief in the country’s potential, Nigeria will rise to take its rightful place as the pride of Africa and the hope of the black race.
