Nigerian Navy Restates Commitment to Maritime Security

The Nigerian Navy will continue to provide the maritime sector the needed security that will enhance business activities, and crude oil production

These were the words of the Commander, Nigerian Navy Ship Victory, Commodore Ajomabi Oride during his passing out parade and handing over ceremony in Calabar.

Oba Hycent completes the reports that the maritime sector plays a significant role in Nigeria’s economic growth and protecting it is a critical role for the Nigerian Navy.

A change of command ceremony that was recently held at the Navy Calendar Command, where Commodore Ajomah Dride, the 28th Commander, handed over to Commandore Shuaib Ahmed, the 29th Commander.

The ceremony marked another phase in the command’s history, with two documents signed to formalize the handing over and taking over of Command.
