By Sola Omoniyi, Lagos
Amidst the ongoing presidential election petition at the court Appeal in Abuja, aggrieved citizens have stormed the court premises to demand justice.
The protesters on Monday, May 22, besieged the Appeal court environment in Abuja, where the ongoing presidential election petition tribunal is being held to demand justice and restoration of their alleged stolen mandate.
Recall that immediately after the 2023 presidential election, the candidate for Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi filed a petition against the president-elect, Bola Tinubu, challenging his Victory.
However, aggrieved citizens were seen displaying placards with different inscriptions, such as:
“INEC Let Nigeria Win”, ” Nigerians Not For Sale”.
“We fight for justice ” ” A fraudulent election cannot produce a credible leader.”
However, the citizens called out the number one citizen, President Muhammadu Buhari to keep to his election promises.
