Nigerians are outraged as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu jet out to Turkey, marking another absence from the country amidst severe economic hardship, insecurity, and policy confusion. Since taking office, Tinubu has reportedly spent over 196 days outside Nigeria, sparking concerns about his commitment to governance.

Critics describe his leadership as “escapism” and accuse him of prioritizing comfort abroad over domestic responsibilities. The Youth O’Clock Movement condemns the trend, demanding accountable governance and people-first leadership.

“Nigeria deserves a government that stays, listens, works, and delivers,” says Comrade Hon. Daniel Ezekiel Perela, aspirant for House of Representatives, Warri Federal Constituency.

The movement calls for a new leadership order, emphasizing competence, commitment, and accountability, ahead of the 2027 elections.
