Vice President Kashim Shettima has touched down in Davos, Switzerland, to lead Nigeria’s delegation to the 56th World Economic Forum (WEF). He was received by Foreign Affairs Minister Amb. Yussuf Tuggar, Trade and Investment Minister Dr Jumoke Oduwole, and officials from the Nigerian mission in Switzerland.

This year’s WEF marks a significant milestone for Nigeria, with the launch of “Nigeria House Davos”, the country’s first-ever sovereign pavilion on the Davos Promenade. The facility, a result of a public-private partnership, will host high-level meetings, investment roundtables, and cultural events throughout the week.

VP Shettima will present Nigeria’s 2026 economic outlook to global leaders, focusing on tech advancements like AI and biotech. He’ll also meet with heads of state, CEOs, and international finance leaders to boost partnerships aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
