Oborevwori Fumes As Omo-Agege Tenders Over 3,000 Documents In Court

The executive governor of Delta state, Sheriff Oborevwori has on Tuesday, July 11, objected the documents which is over 3,000 presented by Ovie Omo-Agege, All Progressives Congress, APC Governorship candidate in the March 18 election.

Oborevwori objected the admissibility of 3,728 Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC forms of EC25B, EC40A, EC40B and EC40C in 25 local government areas of Delta state.

The counsel of Oborevwori and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, third respondent, objected the documents and reserved the details of their objection to their final written address.

Recall that Omo-Agege petitioned and questioned the victory of Oborevwori as the winner of the election after being declared by INEC.

Counsel of All Progressives Congress, APC Bello Abu, held the brief of A.K Osawota, said 1036 were forms of EC25B, 941 of EC40A, 880 of EC40B and 871 of EC40C.

Abu alao presented receipts of payments for the true certified copies of the forms as well as original copies of INEC manual for electoral officers as well as the CTC of INEC regulations and guild lines for the election.

However, the three-man tribunal headed by Justice C.H Ahuchaogi admitted the documents and marked them as exhibits, and adjourned the next sitting to July 24, 2023, for continuation of the hearing.
