Oborevwori, Okowa, Guwor, Ibori, Other Dignitaries Attend Service of Songs for Late Mama Pinapina Otuaro in Effurun in Delta

Prominent political and traditional leaders, including Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Taraba State, former Governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, Emomotimi Guwor speaker of Delta State house of assembly, James Ibori former governor of Delta State, Senator James Manager, Chairman of Delta State PDP and other dignitaries gathered at Christ Embassy Church on Airport Road in Effurun, Delta State, to honour the memory of Mama Pinapina Otuaro (1937-2025) during her service of songs. The event served as a heartfelt tribute to the beloved matriarch, who was the mother of former Deputy Governor Barr. Kingsley Otuaro.

 

Attendees included an array of dignitaries, members of Delta State house of assembly, political appointees, family members, and friends who came together to celebrate the remarkable life that Mama Pinapina led. Her legacy as a devoted mother, grandmother, and community figure was acknowledged through touching speeches, songs, and personal anecdotes shared by those who knew her best.

 

The service provided a profound moment for reflection on the impact Mama Pinapina had on her family and the broader community. Many speakers highlighted her unwavering commitment to her loved ones, as well as her dedication to fostering unity and support among those around her. As guests shared their memories, laughter and tears intertwined, illustrating the depth of her influence.

 

In his address, Governor Oborevwori expressed his condolences to the Otuaro family and spoke of Mama Pinapina’s enduring spirit of kindness and generosity. This sentiment was echoed by Senator Okowa and other dignitaries, who reiterated the importance of remembering her contributions to society and the values she instilled in her children and grandchildren.
