Oborevwori orders disbursement of 2023 Bursary Fund

The Delta State Governor, Rt.Hon. Sheriff Oborewori has gave a directive to the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board to begin allocation of fund of 2023 bursary to students of Delta State origin by the first week of February.
The Governor urged solidarity from the students forums to take serious and the actualization of his M.O.R.E for Deltans agenda.
He gave the directive during his approval for the disbursement of funds for the payment of the 2023 for Delta indigenous students bursary.
The Governor’s directive was contained in a statement by the Executive Secretary of the State Bursary and Scholarship Board, Dr. Godfrey Enita.
According to a statement release by the Governor, He said, “I wish to bring to the table of the National Association of Delta State Students that His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori has approved the disbursement of the 2023 bursary award and has directed the Board to make arrangements to validly qualified students of Delta State origin by the first week of February 2024.
“It sound like a common wisdom that our Governor is not only youth friendly but also derive pleasure in youth empowerment and development, which is an inbuild factor of his M.O.R.E agenda.
“Your excellency Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, you are a paradigm most definitely like God whose love and aspiration for students can only be defined as a cosmic excellence.
“The forbearance and understanding of the Great Delta State Students is highly appreciated, but our top most priority now is solidarity with our esteemed father, the Governor of Delta State.”
