Ogidigba Calls for Peace, Unity, Solidarity among Amnesty Beneficiaries, Hails Tompolo, Otuaro

Gen. Godstime Ogidigba, Chairman of the Third Phase of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, has called for sustained peace, unity, and solidarity among beneficiaries and stakeholders across the Niger Delta.
In his seasonal address, Gen. Ogidigba described the Amnesty Programme as a “historic bridge” between the Federal Government and the people of the Niger Delta, built on trust, dialogue, and mutual responsibility. He urged beneficiaries to remain focused, united, and law-abiding, stressing that “peace remains the strongest currency for progress and empowerment”.
Gen. Ogidigba commended Chief Dr. Dennis Otuaro, Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, for his “purposeful leadership” and renewed administrative drive. He also expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to national unity, security, and inclusive economic reforms.
The Chairman acknowledged High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo) for his role in peace-building and stability in the Niger Delta, describing him as a key stakeholder of Niger Delta region.
Gen. Ogidigba called on Amnesty beneficiaries to recommit themselves to peace, unity, and solidarity, emphasizing that a united front is essential to safeguarding the gains of the Amnesty Programme.
He concluded by wishing all beneficiaries, stakeholders, and Nigerians a peaceful festive season and a New Year filled with hope, stability, and progress.
