Oil Marketers Back Dangote’s Free Fuel Delivery Plan

More oil marketers have thrown their weight behind Dangote Refinery’s free fuel delivery scheme, with Conoil Plc, Eterna Plc, and others now joining the initiative.

The scheme, which eliminates transportation charges by delivering petrol directly to filling stations, is designed to ease supply costs and lower pump prices for motorists. The first phase covers 11 states including Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, Delta, Edo, and Rivers, with more locations expected in the coming months.

Industry analysts say the move could reshape Nigeria’s downstream sector by cutting out middlemen, boosting competition, and making fuel more affordable.
