Onitsha 2nd City Marathon Will Be Bigger Than Before – Organiser

As people of Anambra state are ready for the 2nd Onitsha City Marathon, Prof. Segun Sogbesan, the Director Of Onitsha Business School and Chief Promoter of the event assured that the second edition will be bigger and better.
The Chief Promoter of the event stated this during a news conference in Onitsha, and that all is getting set for the 21 kilometres marathon, which was scheduled for September 30.
The 2023 Marathon race theme for the year edition is “Dare Your Limit”.
According to report, no fewer than 2000 local and international runners would participate in the event.
It was gathered that rated runners would walk away with nothing less than $1000-$10,000.
The organiser asserted that top 10 Nigeria finishers would get N50,000 to N1 million.
Sogbesan stated that the event would further place Onitsha and Anambra on the world map.
