PAP: 3 PHASE NAT’L CHAIRMAN OGIDIGBA CONDEMNS PROTESTS AGAINST DR. DENNIS OTUARO, LAUDS HIS REFORMS
By Joseph Bienbo
The National Chairman of the Third Phase of the Presidential Amnesty Program (PAP), Gen. Godstime Ogidigba, has condemned protests against Dr. Dennis Otuaro, describing them as a desperate attempt to undermine his efforts. Ogidigba stated that the protests, allegedly orchestrated by Jude Gbaboyor, are misguided and will not destabilize the peace and progress achieved by Otuaro.
Ogidigba emphasized that Otuaro has positively changed the narrative of the program in a short period, providing laptops to students, ensuring timely payment of stipends, and sponsoring students to pursue master’s degrees and PhD abroad. He urged the public to disregard the protests and any attempts to undermine Otuaro’s efforts, warning that the Third Phase PAP will take necessary steps to protect its image and integrity.
The PAP National Chairman also condemned a publication by Elaye Slaboh, who claimed to be the Third Phase Chairman, describing it as a desperate attempt to hijack the leadership of the third phase. Ogidigba assured that the Third Phase PAP will continue to support Otuaro and work towards the development of the Niger Delta.
