PAP: 3rd Phase Nat’l Leadership visits Tompolo in Delta
•Commends Him for Peace, Security, Empowerment of Niger Delta youths

Third Phase National Leadership of the presidential Amnesty programme has paid a Thank-You visit to High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo at Oporoza Community in Gbaramatu kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State for his swift intervention for the release of General Godstime Ogidigba, the national chairman of the Third Phase which was detained for about a week in zone 5.
The Third Phase leadership alongside the 5 Niger Delta States chairmen of the Third Phase paid the courtesy visit to the former MEND leader and chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited during the weekend.
Recall, middle October, the national chairman of the Third Phase was unlawfully arrested and detained in zone 5 following a petition by people who did not mean well for the amnesty delegates in the Niger Delta region.
The leadership also appreciated Tompolo’s unwavering contributions to the peace and development of the Niger Delta region and Nigeria at large.
They further applauded his firm support and contributions to the securing of the nation’s oil assets and empowerment of youths in the Niger Delta, describing him as the father of the Niger Delta and The Peace keeper of the region.
However, they pledged to support his peace mission unwaveringly, and promised to contribute their all in keeping Niger Delta Safe and peaceful at all cost, describing it a pleasure to work under him.
The Chairman prayed for Tompolo’s continued good health and long life, as well as his continued leadership and guidance in the region.
Addressing the delegation, Tompolo charged them to be peaceful and law-abiding as he promised to do things within his power to support Niger Delta youths, the security, peace and development of the country.
