PAP boss Otuaro gives father in-law grand burial rites in Delta

The final burial rites for the late Chief Capt. Felix Bebekemiaye Adurumokumo Ekpetipu took place in Kokodiagbene, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.
The in-law of Chief Capt. Felix Bebekemiaye, the administrator of the presidential Amnesty program, Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro was accompanied by top political leaders, business moguls , traditional rulers and critical stakeholders’ across Delta State.
Congress gathered that late chief Capt. Ekpetipu was a revered personalities in Gbaramatu kingdom, he was known for his wisdom, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the betterment of his people. His legacy spans decades of service, during which he championed numerous initiatives aimed at promoting social, economic, and cultural development in Gbaramatu and the surrounding communities.
He was a man of vision and integrity, deeply respected not only by his family but also by peers and leaders across the Gbaramatu kingdom. His was a father-in-law of Dr. Dennis Otuaro, the coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
The ceremony was a poignant gathering filled with emotion, drawing family, friends, dignitaries, and leaders from Gbaramatu kingdom who came together to pay their last respects and celebrate the life of a man who had touched many lives. Elders spoke of his commitment to peace and hard work.
Meantime, the atmosphere was both somber and celebratory, characterized by the vibrant rhythms of live tribal music and dance, which honoured the rich cultural heritage of the Gbaramatu Kingdom. The kingdom shared heartfelt tributes, recalling moments of kindness, wisdom, and guidance offered by Chief Capt. Ekpetipu throughout his life.
In a touching moment, Dr. Otuaro delivered a eulogy that underscored the profound impact of his father-in-law’s life. He spoke of Chief Capt. Ekpetipu’s unwavering belief in the potential of the youth and his relentless advocacy for creation of opportunities for them through education and skill development programs. Dr. Otuaro conveyed the deep sense of loss felt by the family and Gbaramatu kingdom but emphasized that Chief Capt. Ekpetipu’s spirit would live on through the lives he had touched and the values he instilled in others.
As the sun set over Kokodiagbene, the community gathered for a final farewell, releasing lanterns into the sky as a symbol of their love and remembrance. The ceremony concluded with the promise to uphold Chief Capt. Ekpetipu’s legacy, ensuring that his vision for a united and prosperous Gbaramatu Kingdom continues to inspire and guide future generations. The collective grief was accompanied by a renewed commitment to carry forth his work, honoring the ideals he stood for and celebrating the indelible mark he left on the hearts of many.
