PAP: Ozobo condemns attack on GbaramatuVoice, says ‘running from pillar to post’ will not save Ndiomu

•Demands unreserved apology for GbaramatuVoice to avoid litigation
The President of the Ijaw People’s Development Initiative, IPDI has condemned the alleged intimidation and barring of GbaramatuVoice newspaper from covering a stakeholders meeting held in Ogulagha kingdom in Delta state by the Interim Coordinator of the Presidential amnesty programme Major General Barry Ndiomu on Friday.
Ozobo in a statement said the amnesty coordinator Ndiomu must render unreserved apology for GbaramatuVoice newspaper company for the attack and intimidation meted for the newspaper.
The leading Niger Delta human rights and environmental activist who frowned at the maladministration of the current amnesty boss stated that ‘running from pillar to post’ would not save the Interim Coordinator Ndiomu from being sacked in the nearest future, adding that he had failed, hence looking for cheap endorsements in every nook and cranny.
Ozobo who is a mouth piece of the Niger Delta struggle noted that the stakeholders meeting held in Ogulagha by Ndiomu was meant to cover his maladministration, and to instigate some sheep against the true progressive voices who had spoken against his misrule.
The Niger Delta advocate said the attack on GbaramatuVoice which is one of the papers of the N/Delta struggle is uncivil, adding that such is an expression of insensitive, immaturity and irresponsibility in whatsoever may be the reason for his actions.
The activist maintained that if Ndiomu wants to remain in office, then he should restore the suspended scholarship scheme and address other sundry issues affecting the programme in immediate effect.
He asserted that Ndiomu should render unreserved apology for GbaramatuVoice newspaper company for his uncivil and uninformed actions at Ogulagha meeting to avoid litigation.
