Pastor Ini-Ima Appointed As Akwa Ibom Special Assistant To Governor On Religious Matters

The executive governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, has appointed Pastor Umoh Ini-Ima, as his Special Assistant on Religious Matters.

He’s a holder of an HND in Structural Fittings from the Federal Metallurgical Institute, Onitsha, Pastor Ini-Ima has served as a pastor for 15 years in the All Nations Christian Ministry International.

An indigene of Abiakpo Ikot Essien in Ikot Ekpene LGA, Pastor Ini-Ima was also the Assistant Secretary General of the Friends Of Umo Eno League, FUEL, the first and pioneer support group that sprang up to support the political aspiration of Pastor Umo Eno.

Pastor Ini-Ima is taking over from Rev. Dr Daniel Akwatang, JP, who played that role admirably for eight years of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s Administration. As a Special Assistant on Religious Matters to the Governor, Pastor Ini-Ima becomes the Chaplain of the State House Chapel, advises and assists the governor on spiritual matters as well as organizes all religious activities and programmes of government.

Pastor Ini-Ima is married to Deaconess Itohowo Umo Ini-Ima and they are blessed with four children.
