PDP Burutu LGA Meets, Says Party Undergoing Rebirth, Assures Members of Commitment In Building Party Ahead of 2027

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Burutu Local Government Area has held its general meeting to strategize ahead of the 2027 general elections in the LGA.

The meeting was attended by the party members and leaders from the 11 federal wards in the Local Government Council.
Although specific details about the meeting’s outcome aren’t available at the time of filling this report.

Congress gathered that the meeting was to reposition the party ahead of the 2027 general elections in Burutu LGA.

The acting LGA party chairman, Comrade Jackson Agbor while speaking said the party’s commitment to transparency, fairness, and good governance in the country will guarantee its success in the forthcoming elections.

He said the party in Burutu Local Government Area is undergoing rebirth after being collapsed by the governor, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori who was elected under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party before his abrupt defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The party leadership urged members of the party in the LGA to work collectively towards the party’s bounced back and its rebuilding processes.

According to the leadership, the party is working tirelessly to mobilize at the grassroots ahead of 2027.
