Foremost Niger Delta rights activist Comrade Ozobo Austin has faulted a mischievous, concocted and inconsequential publication making the round that High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias, Tompolo mobilized 1000 militants to Abuja during the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, presidential primary elections on Saturday.

This was disclosed to reporters on Sunday by himself, arguing that the story is from the pit of hell and that the Public should disregard it.

While debunking the allegation, Ozobo stated that Tompolo is not a politician and not contesting any election, noting that he had nothing to do with the PDP presidential primary election held in Abuja on Saturday.

“I read the other day, where some bloggers wrote, ” Tompolo is dead” Tompolo killed in Bayelsa”. These are works of traducers and detractors. Just some days of this nonsense, they went and cooked another lies. This has been their trademark and we are aware. We know those who are behind this defamatory and libellous attacks. They will continue to fail in all attempts to black the peace loving Niger Delta leader, he added.

“I reiterate, Tompolo has no business with PDP primary, and never sent anybody including militants to Abuja”, he maintained.

The rights activist urged the public to completely disregard the works of the fifth columnists, adding that the report is baseless, frivolous mischievous, provoking and a calculated attempt to incite the federal government against Tompolo.
