Peter Obi Congratulates Hilda Baci On Record-Breaking Jollof Rice Feat

Former Anambra State governor and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has congratulated Nigerian celebrity chef Hilda Baci on her latest Guinness World Record achievement for preparing the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, weighing an astonishing 8,780 kilograms.

In a statement on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Obi hailed Baci’s accomplishment as a “powerful symbol” of what Nigerians – particularly young people – can achieve when passion and dedication are nurtured with the right opportunities.

“Let me again congratulate Hilda Baci on her extraordinary Guinness World Record for preparing the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, reaching 8,780 kilograms,” Obi wrote.

“This is a powerful symbol of what our people can achieve when passion, hard work and opportunity are united. It reflects the limitless potential that resides in our youth.”
