Four Suspected Robbers Nab in Ogun

The men of the Ogun State police command have arrested four suspected robbers in Sango Ota, Ogun state.

Following a report at Sango Divisional Headquarters on 20th March 2023 by Adeleye Sunday, who was reportedly attacked by armed robbers, the suspects were arrested and identified as Sheriff Kamoru 28, Rabiu Seyidu 37, Opeyemi Adebayo 26 and Ajibola Fakolade 21.

Adeleye stated that the armed robbers collected two phones and siphoned the sum of six hundred thousand naira from him after beating him with a matchet and leaving a cut on his neck.

Their arrest is confirmed by Abimbola Oyeyemi, the force’s Public Relations Officer who stated that the DPO Sango Ota division, CSP Saleh Dahiru swung into action to trace and arrest the suspects.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Olanrewaju Yomi has ordered the suspects to be transferred to the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for diligent prosecution.
