The Delta State Police Command has stepped up efforts to secure the safe release of the abducted Chairman of Sapele Local Government Area, as Commissioner of Police, Yemi Oyeniyi, carried out an on-the-spot operational assessment in Sapele.

The visit, conducted in response to the abduction, underscores the Command’s resolve to rescue the council boss unharmed and bring those responsible to justice.

During the assessment, the police chief inspected key locations linked to the incident, including Debro Fred Guest House, where the abduction reportedly took place.
