Pondi splashes food items, cash gifts to flood victims in Burutu

Following the negative flooding impacts of riverine communities in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta state, Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi Gbabojor, the Honourable Member Representing Burutu Federal Constituency on Tuesday 18th October, 2022 has presented Relief Materials and cash gifts to Burutu flood victims.

The food items were received by Hon. Godknows Angele, Chairman Burutu LGA and his Flood Management Committee.

The items presented were, 100 bags of Garri, 60 big bags of Beans, Several cartons of noodles, over 50 bundles of Roofing sheets, Nails and ₦1.1m Cash gift.

The food items and cash were presented to the Burutu Local Government Council Chairman, Angele by Pondi’s campaign team led by Hon. Apu Tonkiri and other members.

The lawmaker, also extended his profound sympathy to persons and families affected by the flood.

Pondi tasked the Burutu flood committee to distribute the food items and cash donated by good spirited-persons judiciously.
