President Buhari hails Late Enahoro for his commitment to Journalistic Excellence

President Muhammadu Buhari extends his condolences to the family and associates of late Nigerian Journalist, Peter Enahoro, who died on Tuesday, April 25 at the age of 88.
Buhari described Enahoro as a great Journalist who earned public respect through his writings.
In a statement by Mr Femi Adesina, the President’s Media Aide, Buhari stated that Enahoro is a great author and publisher who’s trusted by his fearless tenacity and commitment to the pursuit of the truth.
The president stated that the passion of the former Editor in chief of the Daily Times Assistant Publicity Officer, of the Department of Information and pioneer chairman, of the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission, for public service was second to none.
“I used this medium to applaud Late Enahoro for using his knowledge and mastery to mentor people, who have also added value to journalism practice in Nigeria” Buhari stated.
The president appealed to those mourning the deceased of his achievements to reflect on his contributions to the country and build on the many honours credited to him for journalistic excellence.
“May the soul of Peter Enahoro rest in peace” the president prayed.
